REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3606

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 3606 - AN ACT CONVERTING THE BATAAN AGRICULTURAL HIGH SCHOOL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ABUCAY, PROVINCE OF BATAAN, INTO A NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL TO BE KNOWN AS THE BATAAN NATIONAL AGRICULTURAL SCHOOL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1. The Bataan Agricultural High School in the Municipality of Abucay, Province of Bataan, is hereby converted into a national agricultural school to be known as the Bataan National Agricultural School. Sec. 2. The Director of Public Schools shall, subject to the approval of the Secretary of Education, reorganize the Bataan Agricultural High School in accordance with the provisions of this Act. Sec. 3. The sum of one hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment and operation of the said Bataan National Agricultural School. The necessary sum for its operation in subsequent years shall be included in the annual General Appropriation Acts. Sec. 4. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 22, 1963
