REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4942

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4942 - AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MATERNITY AND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY BALAOAN, PROVINCE OF LA UNION, TO BE KNOWN AS NORTHERN LA UNION MATERNITY AND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1. There shall be established, under the supervision of the Department of Health, a maternity and children's hospital in the Municipality of Balaoan, Province of La Union, to be known as Northern La Union Maternity and Children's Hospital. Sec. 2. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-seven. Thereafter, the amount not less than five hundred thousand pesos, or such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance, shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Enacted without Executive approval, June 17, 1967.
