DECLARE THE 22ND DAY OF JULY OF EVERY YEAR A NON-WORKING SPECIAL PUBLIC
HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF BOHOL AND THE CITY OF TAGBILARAN TO BE KNOWN
AS "BOHOL DAY" |
Section
1. On July 22, 1854, Bohol was separated from Cebu
and, together with Siquijor, was created into a politico-military
province during the Spanish rule in the Philippines. Thereafter,
it was recognized as a province during the American regime. Sec. 2. July 22 of every year is hereby declared a special non-working public holiday in the Province of Bohol and the City of Tagbilaran. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: February 23,
