REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7788

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 7788 - AN ACT DECLARING JUNE 13 OF EVERY YEAR AS A SPECIAL NON-WORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF LASAM, PROVINCE OF CAGAYAN, TO BE KNOWN AS "ADLAW TI LASAM"

Section 1. The Municipality of Lasam was declared an independent municipality by virtue of Republic Act No. 507 signed on June 13, 1950 by President Elpidio Quirino. Sec. 2. June 13 of every year is hereby declared as a special non-working holiday in the Municipality of Lasam, Province of Cagayan, to be known as "Adlaw ti Lasam." Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. * Lapsed into law without the signature of the President on August 8, 1994, in accordance with Article VI, Sec. 27 (1) of the Constitution.
