REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4257

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 4257 - AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A MATERNITY AND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF NARVACAN, PROVINCE OF ILOCOS SUR, TO BE KNOWN AS THE NARVACAN MATERNITY AND CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1. There shall be established, under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services, a maternity and children's hospital in the Municipality of Narvacan, Province of Ilocos Sur, to be known as the Narvacan Maternity and Children's Hospital. Sec. 2. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated out of any funds of the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-six. Such sums as may be needed for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Approved: June 19, 1965
