REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5397

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 5397 - AN ACT PROVIDING FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A HOSPITAL IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF SURALA, PROVINCE OF SOUTH COTABATO, TO BE KNOWN AS SURALA GENERAL HOSPITAL, AND AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATIONS OF FUNDS THEREFOR

Section 1. There shall be established under the direct supervision of the Director of Medical Services a hospital in the Municipality of Surala, Province of South Cotabato, to be known as the Surala General Hospital to serve the medical needs of the new Province of South Cotabato. Sec. 2. The sum of two hundred fifty thousand pesos is hereby authorized to be appropriated, out of any funds in the National Treasury not otherwise appropriated, for the establishment, operation and maintenance of said hospital during the fiscal year nineteen hundred sixty-nine. Thereafter, such sums as may be necessary for its operation and maintenance shall be included in the annual General Appropriations Act. Sec. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval. Enacted without Executive approval, June 15, 1968.
