REPUBLIC ACT NO. 8815

AN ACT INCLUDING THE CITY OF ANGELES IN THE COVERAGE OF THE JOSE ABAD SANTOS DAY, AMENDING FOR THE PURPOSE REPUBLIC ACT NUMBERED SEVENTY-FIVE FIFTY-TWO AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

Section 1. Section 1 of Republic Act Numbered Seventy-Five Fifty-Two is hereby amended to read as follows: "Section 1. May seven of every year is hereby declared as a special nonworking holiday in the Province of Pampanga and the City of Angeles to be known as the Jose Abad Santos Day." Sec. 2. Effectivity. – This Act shall take effect fifteen (15) days from its publication in the Official Gazette or in at least two (2) newspapers of national circulation. Approved: August 21, 2000.
