Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-fourth day of July, two thousand six.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9410 March 24, 2007

AN ACT AMENDING REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9031, DECLARING MAY 27 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING PUBLIC HOLIDAY IN THE PROVINCE OF CAMARINES SUR AND IN THE CITIES OF NAGA AND IRIGA IN COMMEMORATION OF ITS ANNUAL FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. Section 1 of Republic Act No. 9031 is hereby amended to read as follows.

"Section 1. May 27 of every year is hereby declared as a special nonworking public holiday in the entire Province of Camarines Sur including the cities of Naga and Iriga in commemoration of its foundation anniversary as a political unit."

Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect immediately upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on June 6, 2005 and January 22, 2007, respectively.
