Begun and held in Metro Manila, on Monday, the twenty-fourth day of July, two thousand six.

REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9412 March 24, 2007

AN ACT DECLARING AUGUST 20 OF EVERY YEAR A SPECIAL NONWORKING HOLIDAY IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF DULAG, PROVINCE OF LEYTE TO BE KNOWN AS "MUNICIPAL FOUNDATION DAY"

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the Philippines in Congress assembled:

Section 1. To commemorate the creation of the Municipality of Dulag, Province of Leyte, August 20 of every year is hereby declared a special nonworking holiday in the said municipality to be known as "Municipal Foundation Day".

Sec. 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.

This Act which originated in the House of Representatives was finally passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate on November 15, 2005 and January 22, 2007, respectively.
